On the 16th of December, a master executive Class in Digital Supply Chain, Operations & Logistics from the 24ORE Business School, visited Tecnopolo and the RFID Lab at the University of Parma to study RFID and better understand its applications and benefits in Logsitics.
Prof. Antonio Rizzi lectured on the technology, its use cases and pivotal role for the digitalization and optimization of the supply chain.
Visiting the Fashion Store of RFID Lab
During the stay, the attendees also visited the Fashion Store of RFID Lab where Laura Pellegri, Project Manager of Murata ID Solutions, gave a live demonstration of RFID applied to retail store processes – from receiving and inventory count to replenishment from the backroom and automated check-out.
In the afternoon Prof. Massimo Merlino joined the class giving a lecture on the intricate world of the Metaverse and its economic and geopolitical connotations.
Great curiosity and interest were shown by the attendees while exploring the RFID world. For us it is always a pleasure to share our knowledge, research and passion.
