24 Ore Master Class: Exploring the Potential of IoT and RFID

On December 14th, the 24 Ore Business School’s Masterclass in Digital Supply Chain, Operations & Logistics visited RFID lab for a lesson on the technology and its significant potential for enhancing product and supply chain processes.

Following their arrival at the university, Prof. Antonio Rizzi guided the attendees through the captivating realm of IoT and RFID technology. He detailed the technology’s evolution throughout the recent decades, emphasizing the escalating significance of RFID-based tracking solutions across diverse business applications.

Spanning important use cases such as inventory management, asset management, track and trace and supply chain visibility, IoT and RFID technologies are revolutionizing logistics and supply chains. By digitizing and optimizing processes, they enhance the economic, environmental, and social sustainability.
